This class is for those that are new to Needlepointing or just need a basic refresher on their skills.

We will introduce the following:
- Type of Needles to use on projects and how to know you have the correct size
- Types of Threads and uses with 13ct and 18ct canvas
- Types of Canvas and Fabrics used for Needlepoint
- Tools for to enhance your stitching experience

The techniques that will be covered are:
- Tent Stitch
- Continental Stitch
- Basketweave
- Cross Stitch
- Upright Cross Stitch
- Backstitch
- Brick Stitch (Vertical)
- Horizonal Brick Stitch
- Mosaic Stitch
- Cashmere Stitch
- Satin Stitch
- Diagonal Satin Stitch

This class will be held from 9:00 to 4:00 with lunch provided. Materials to be used for the demonstrations will be provided in the cost of the class.
