July 12 & 13, 2025 | Background and Border Embellishment

Join us for a Background and Border Embellishment Workshop on July 12^th – 13^th, 2025.

In this 2-day workshop you will bring up to 3 canvases that you want to get stitch and embellishments guidance on.   Bridget and Dianne will be working with each student to suggest stitches, threads, and embellishment techniques to bring these canvases to life and you’re stitching to the next level.

A stitch book is included in the cost of this workshop.

Areas to be covered:

·       Open Backgrounds

·       Solid Backgrounds

·       How to calculate a border

·       Compensation

·       Repeat Patterns

·       Threads to use and their effects

·       Shading of colors in backgrounds

This workshop will be held from 9:00 to 4:00 each day with lunch provided.
